If you need to have both monitors plus the game that’s a whole other thing but if you’ve got enough screen space it shouldn’t be hard to have OBS and chat both open. For example I have my monitors plugged in via DP and I have my secondary monitor also taking an HDMI feed from my elgato so once my stream is started I just reach over and switch the input to HDMI.īoth of these options would make the game full screen mind you. The second option is to run the output not to a third monitor but just a different inout. Option 1 would be to just fullscreen the preview in the Elgato software, that will eliminate all the controls and such although you are taxing your system a bit extra. I’m unsure how you are running two apps simultaneously but maybe certain cards can.Īnyway, I’d say you have two options. So you do want to play off the preview, just not the OBS preview, gotcha.
